This formulation contains Human Albumin, a sterile, non-pyrogenic preparation of albumin isolated from pooled human plasma through the Cohn cold ethanol fractionation process.

Dosage & Administration

Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Physician):

• Route: Intravenous (IV) Infusion ONLY.
• Infusion Rate:
  • 5% Solution: 5–10 ml/minute.
  • 20%/25% Solution: 1–2 ml/minute.
• Caution: Rapid infusion can cause **Circulatory Overload** (fluid in the lungs). Monitor the heart rate and blood pressure constantly.

Safety Warnings (CRITICAL):

• Circulatory Overload: Use with extreme caution in patients with Heart Failure, Renal Insufficiency, or Pulmonary Edema.
• Hydration: When using 20% or 25% (Hyper-oncotic) albumin, ensure the patient is adequately hydrated to prevent cellular dehydration.
• Blood Pressure: Albumin increases blood pressure. Monitor for surgical bleeding after pressure rises.
• Allergy: If an anaphylactic reaction occurs, stop the infusion immediately.
