• Adults (Standard): 500 mg to 1 g every 6 hours.
• Severe Infections (Osteo/Endocarditis): 2 g every 6 hours (up to 8g/day).
• Children (2-10 years): 125 mg to 250 mg every 6 hours.
• Reconstitution: Dissolve 500mg in 5-10ml Water for Injection. Administer slowly IV over 3-4 minutes.

Safety Warnings (CRITICAL):

• Liver Toxicity (Cholestatic Jaundice): UNIQUE RISK. Flucloxacillin is associated with liver damage (jaundice), especially in elderly patients or those treated for > 14 days. This may occur weeks after stopping treatment.
• Penicillin Allergy: CONTRAINDICATED in patients with history of anaphylaxis to beta-lactams.
• Vein Irritation: High doses can cause phlebitis. Rotate infusion sites regularly.
• Ineffective against MRSA: Does not work against Methicillin-Resistant *Staph aureus*.
