Dosage & Administration

Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Physician):

• Route: Deep Intramuscular (IM) Injection (Gluteal). (IV infusion requires specific dilution).
• Adults: 75 mg (1 ampoule) once daily.
• Severe Pain: Can be repeated after 6 hours (Max 150 mg/day).
• Duration: Injection is for acute use (1-2 days). Switch to oral tablets ASAP.
• IV Infusion: MUST be diluted in 100-500ml Saline/Dextrose buffered with Sodium Bicarbonate (to prevent precipitation). Infuse over 30-120 mins. NEVER give as IV Bolus.

Safety Warnings (CRITICAL):

• GI Bleeding: NSAIDs increase the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding. Use with caution in elderly or those with history of peptic ulcer.
• Renal Failure: Avoid in patients with pre-existing kidney disease or dehydration. NSAIDs reduce renal blood flow.
• Asthma: CONTRAINDICATED in “Aspirin-Sensitive Asthma” (can cause fatal bronchospasm).
• Injection Site: Inject deep into the muscle to avoid nerve damage or abscess formation.
