Dosage & Administration

Administration: Apply to the conjunctival sac. To minimize systemic absorption, the patient should apply pressure to the tear duct for 1 minute after instillation.
Safety Warning: For Ophthalmic Use Only. Vision Warning: May cause temporary blurred vision; do not drive until vision is clear. Precipitation Note: Some patients may notice a white crystalline deposit on the eyelid; this is a physical trait of the medication and is usually not a cause for concern. Contraindication: Do not use if known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolone antibiotics exists.
