Product Overview
This formulation contains Ibuprofen, a propionic acid derivative NSAID.
The “Triple Action” Specialist:
- Mechanism: Ibuprofen works by non-selectively, reversibly inhibiting the Cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2). This blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid into prostaglandins, which are the chemical mediators responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation.
- Peripheral & Central: It acts peripherally at the site of injury to reduce swelling and pain, and centrally in the hypothalamus to lower fever.
- Safety Profile: Generally considered safer for the stomach than Aspirin or Indomethacin, making it the preferred NSAID for long-term management of mild-to-moderate arthritis.
- Rapid Onset: Well-absorbed orally, providing relief typically within 30 minutes.
Product Composition & Strength
We supply this product as Sugar Coated (Round/Pink) or Film Coated Tablets. Effective taste-masking is critical as Ibuprofen has a burning aftertaste.

Manufacturing Authority
Marketed and Distributed by Healthy Inc from WHO-GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified units.
- Low Melting Point Challenge: Ibuprofen has a low melting point (~75°C). During high-speed compression, friction generates heat which can cause the powder to melt and stick to the punches (“sticking”). We use advanced granulation techniques and cooling systems in our tablet presses to prevent this, ensuring perfectly smooth tablets.
- Throat Burn Prevention: Uncoated Ibuprofen causes a distinct burning sensation in the throat. We apply a robust film or sugar coating to ensure the tablet passes the esophagus before dissolving.
Therapeutic Indications (Human Use)
Indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain and inflammation:
- Arthritis: Relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
- Dysmenorrhea: Primary treatment for menstrual cramps (reduces uterine prostaglandin production).
- Acute Pain: Dental pain, post-operative pain, and soft tissue injuries (sprains/strains).
- Pyrexia: Reduction of fever in adults and children.
Dosage & Administration
Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Physician):
- Route: Oral.
- Analgesia/Fever: 200 mg to 400 mg every 4 to 6 hours. Max 1200 mg/day for OTC use.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis: High doses required. 400 mg, 600 mg, or 800 mg taken 3 or 4 times daily. Maximum daily dose 3200 mg (under strict medical monitoring).
- Administration: Must be taken with food or milk to reduce gastric irritation.
Safety Warnings:
- GI Bleeding: Long-term use increases the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding.
- Cardiovascular Risk: Like all NSAIDs (except Aspirin), high doses may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.
- Renal Function: Inhibits renal prostaglandins; can precipitate kidney failure in dehydrated or elderly patients.
- Asthma: Can trigger bronchospasm in “Aspirin-sensitive” asthmatics.
