Description
Cephalothin Sodium Injection
Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of First-Generation Cephalosporins. We provide high-purity Cephalothin Sodium Injection (1g), sourced from WHO–GMP certified sterile injectable facilities. This “Staph Specialist” is a top export to surgical departments, orthopedic centers, and government health ministries in Africa, LATAM, and Southeast Asia, serving as the classic prophylactic agent for preventing surgical site infections caused by *Staphylococcus aureus*.
Product Overview
This formulation contains Cephalothin Sodium, the prototype first-generation cephalosporin known for its potent activity against Gram-positive cocci.
The “Surgical Shield” Specialist:
- Staph & Strep Potency: Cephalothin is exceptionally active against penicillinase-producing Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and Streptococcus pyogenes. It resists degradation by Staphylococcal beta-lactamases better than many later-generation cephalosporins.
- The “PEK” Spectrum: While primarily a Gram-positive drug, it provides essential coverage against the “PEK” group of Gram-negatives: Proteus mirabilis, E. coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, making it useful for uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
- Surgical Prophylaxis: Due to its ability to penetrate bone and soft tissue, it is a preferred agent for preventing infections in cardiac, orthopedic, and gastrointestinal surgeries.
