Dosage & Administration

Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Physician):

• Route: Subcutaneous, IM, IV, Epidural, or Spinal.
• Max Single Dose: 4.5 mg/kg (Not to exceed 300 mg). If combined with Adrenaline, max dose is 7 mg/kg (500 mg).
• Caution: Always aspirate before injection to ensure the needle is not inside a blood vessel.

Safety Warnings (CRITICAL):

• LAST (Local Anesthetic Systemic Toxicity): Accidental IV injection can cause seizures and cardiac arrest. Resuscitation equipment must be available.
• Liver Function: Use with caution in patients with hepatic failure as Lidocaine is metabolized in the liver.
• Heart Block: Contraindicated in patients with severe heart block.
