Description

Ampicillin Injection 1g

Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of essential beta-lactam antibiotics. We provide high-purity Ampicillin Sodium Injection (1g), sourced from WHO–GMP certified sterile injectable facilities. This “Public Health Staple” is a top export to maternity wards, infectious disease units, and government health ministries in Africa, LATAM, and Southeast Asia, serving as the trusted first-line therapy for Listeriosis, Meningitis, and susceptible Gram-negative infections.

Product Overview

This formulation contains Ampicillin Sodium, a semi-synthetic aminopenicillin with extended spectrum activity compared to Penicillin G.

The “Broad-Spectrum” Workhorse:

  • Mechanism (Bactericidal): Ampicillin binds to specific Penicillin-Binding Proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall. It inhibits the third and final stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis. This leads to cell lysis (bursting) and death.
  • The “Amino” Advantage: The presence of an amino group in its chemical structure allows it to penetrate the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria more effectively than natural penicillin.
  • Spectrum: Effective against Gram-positive organisms (Streptococci, Enterococci, Listeria) and certain Gram-negatives (E. coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella, Shigella).
