Description
Amoxicillin Capsules
Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of essential broad-spectrum beta-lactam antimicrobials. We provide high-purity Amoxicillin Capsules (250 mg / 500 mg), manufactured in WHO–GMP certified, completely dedicated penicillin oral solid dosage facilities. This “Extended-Spectrum Aminopenicillin” is a massive-volume, foundational export to primary care clinics, pediatric hospitals, dental clinics, and government health ministries in LATAM, Africa, and Southeast Asia, serving as the absolute gold-standard, first-line oral intervention for respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, and dental infections.
Product Overview
This formulation contains Amoxicillin (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate), a highly potent, semi-synthetic aminopenicillin antibiotic.
The “Superior Absorption” Beta-Lactam Specialist:
- Mechanism (Cell Wall Synthesis Blockade): Like all penicillins, Amoxicillin is bactericidal. It penetrates the bacterial cell envelope and binds with high affinity to specific Penicillin-Binding Proteins (PBPs). It halts the final stage of peptidoglycan cross-linking, physically weakening the cell wall until osmotic pressure causes the bacteria to burst (lyse).
- The Pharmacokinetic Advantage: While its spectrum of activity is nearly identical to Ampicillin (covering Streptococcus, Enterococcus, H. influenzae, and H. pylori), Amoxicillin boasts radically superior oral bioavailability. It is more completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, yielding peak blood serum levels that are roughly twice as high as an equivalent dose of oral Ampicillin.
- Food-Independent Absorption: Crucially for patient compliance, Amoxicillin’s absorption is not significantly impaired by food, allowing patients to take it with meals to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.

Manufacturing Authority
Marketed and Distributed by Healthy Inc from WHO-GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified units.
- 100% Dedicated Penicillin Isolation: Regulatory guidelines strictly prohibit manufacturing penicillins in the same facilities as cephalosporins or general non-antibiotic drugs. Our Amoxicillin is processed in a completely segregated manufacturing block featuring independent HVAC systems, airlocks, and dedicated operators to absolutely eliminate the risk of fatal cross-contamination.
- Rapid Dissolution Profiling: Formulated with premium disintegrants, ensuring the capsule shell ruptures rapidly in the stomach, achieving reliable peak serum concentrations typically within 1 to 2 hours of ingestion.
Therapeutic Indications (Human Use)
Indicated for the treatment of community-acquired bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains:
- Ear, Nose, and Throat Infections: Otitis media, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis (Streptococcal).
- Lower Respiratory Tract Infections (RTIs): Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and community-acquired pneumonia.
- Genitourinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Uncomplicated cystitis.
- Dental Infections & Prophylaxis: Acute dental abscesses and standard endocarditis prophylaxis prior to dental procedures.
- Helicobacter pylori Eradication: Used as part of a multi-drug regimen to eradicate H. pylori and reduce the risk of peptic ulcer recurrence.
Dosage & Administration
Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Physician):
- Administration: Taken orally, with or without food.
- Standard Adult Dose: 250 mg to 500 mg every 8 hours (three times daily), or 500 mg to 875 mg every 12 hours (twice daily), depending on the severity of the infection.
- Dental Prophylaxis: Typically a single 2 gram dose administered 1 hour before the dental procedure.
Safety Warnings (CRITICAL):
- BLACK BOX WARNING (Anaphylaxis): Serious and occasionally fatal hypersensitivity (anaphylactic) reactions have been reported in patients on penicillin therapy. It is strictly contraindicated in patients with a history of penicillin allergy. Cross-reactivity with cephalosporins is also possible.
- The “Mononucleosis Rash” (CRITICAL DIAGNOSTIC NOTE): A very high percentage of patients with infectious mononucleosis (Epstein-Barr virus) who receive Amoxicillin develop a severe, generalized, non-allergic erythematous maculopapular rash. It should not be administered to patients with suspected viral mononucleosis.
- Beta-Lactamase Susceptibility: Amoxicillin is easily destroyed by beta-lactamase enzymes. It will not be effective against penicillinase-producing Staphylococcus aureus.
