- Children: 30-40 mg/kg/day (based on Ceftriaxone component).
- Reconstitution: Dissolve 1.5g vial in 10ml WFI/Saline. Shake well.
Safety Warnings (CRITICAL):
- Calcium Interaction (FATAL): NEVER mix with Calcium-containing solutions (like Ringer’s Lactate). It forms fatal precipitates in the lungs/kidneys. CONTRAINDICATED in Neonates requiring calcium.
- Kernicterus: CONTRAINDICATED in Neonates (< 28 days) as it displaces bilirubin.
