Cefoperazone & Tazobactam Injection
Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of hepatobiliary-safe antibiotic combinations. We provide high-purity Cefoperazone & Tazobactam Injection (1.125 g), sourced from WHO–GMP certified sterile injectable facilities. This “Dual-Excretion Guardian” is a top export to nephrology wards, gastro-surgical units, and government health ministries in Africa, LATAM, and Southeast Asia, serving as the preferred choice for treating resistant infections in patients with compromised kidney function.
Product Overview
This formulation combines Cefoperazone, a third-generation biliary-excreted cephalosporin, with Tazobactam, a potent beta-lactamase inhibitor.
The “Renal-Safe” Specialist:
- Synergy (ESBL Defense): While Cefoperazone has excellent coverage against Pseudomonas, it is vulnerable to beta-lactamase enzymes. Tazobactam irreversibly binds to these enzymes (including ESBLs), restoring Cefoperazone’s original potency against resistant Gram-negative bacteria.
- Dual Excretion (The Safety Valve): This is one of the few antibiotic combinations where the two components have different primary excretion routes. Cefoperazone is primarily excreted via bile (75%), while Tazobactam is excreted via urine. This makes it exceptionally safe for patients with renal failure, as the liver takes over the clearance of the cephalosporin.
- Targeted Therapy: Ideal for complicated intra-abdominal infections (Cholecystitis, Peritonitis) and UTIs where multi-drug resistant organisms are suspected.

Manufacturing Authority
Marketed and Distributed by Healthy Inc from WHO-GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified units.
- Sterile Blending Technology: Cefoperazone is fluffy and light, while Tazobactam is dense. We use validated aseptic blending to ensure a homogeneous mixture in every vial, preventing “dose dumping” or inconsistent ratios.
- Stability Assurance: Cefoperazone is highly hygroscopic. Our manufacturing lines operate at <20% Relative Humidity to prevent moisture absorption, ensuring the powder dissolves instantly without clumping.
Therapeutic Indications (Human Use)
Indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe infections:
- Hepatobiliary Infections: Cholecystitis, Cholangitis, and Liver Abscess (due to high biliary concentration).
- Renal Patients: Infections in patients undergoing dialysis or with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
- Gynecological Infections: Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Endometritis.
- Peritonitis: Post-operative abdominal infections.
- Complicated UTIs: Caused by ESBL-producing E. coli.
