Therapeutic Indications (Veterinary Use Only)

Indicated for the prevention and treatment of capillary bleeding in Cattle, Horses, Dogs, and Cats:

• Epistaxis: Management of nosebleeds (especially exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage in racehorses).
• Post-Operative Hemorrhage: Reduces capillary oozing after docking, ear cropping, or major soft tissue surgeries.
• Hematuria: Blood in urine due to bladder or kidney infections.
• Post-Partum: Used as an adjunct to control minor capillary seeping after calving.
• Trauma: Supportive therapy for internal bruising and wound bleeding.

Dosage & Administration

Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Veterinarian):

• Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Subcutaneous (SC). (IV route may be used in emergencies under strict supervision).
• Cattle & Horses: 2 mL to 5 mL per animal (approx. 10–25 mg total dose).
• Sheep, Goats & Swine: 1 mL to 3 mL.
• Dogs & Cats: 0.5 mL to 1 mL (approx. 0.5 mg/kg body weight).
• Frequency: Twice daily (Every 12 hours) until bleeding stops.
• Withdrawal Period: Generally short; Meat (1 Day), Milk (0 Days) – usually considered safe but verify local regulations.

Safety Warnings:

• Mechanism Limit: This drug will NOT stop arterial pumping hemorrhage or correct clotting factor deficiencies (like Hemophilia or Warfarin poisoning). It only stabilizes capillaries.
• Allergy: Contraindicated in animals with known hypersensitivity to Salicylates (Aspirin family).
• Compatibility: Do not mix with other injections in the same syringe.
